From pioneer to global player. CERATIZIT Balzheim was founded in March 2018 as a result of the merger of the two tool specialists KLENK and Günther Wirth Präzisionswerkzeuge and is part of the international CERATIZIT Group based in Mamer (Luxembourg).
At CERATIZIT Balzheim, the signs are still pointing towards growth. Following major investments in the expansion of the location, research and development, the degree of automation as well as in the expansion of the company’s machinery, the course is set for a successful future. On a total production area of 11,000 m², more than three million rotary cutting tools are manufactured annually at the Balzheim factory - and the trend is rising. In order to meet the worldwide demand of customers from the automotive, energy, medical and aerospace sectors for quality tools from Balzheim in the future, not only are further investments planned - the number of employees will also increase accordingly.
For this reason, the Balzheim tool specialists have been committed for decades to training (approx. 40 trainees) their own specialists, for whom a spacious and modern training center is available in Oberbalzheim.
