With the SIMPLEX soft-face hammer he developed and patented in 1938, Erwin Halder laid the foundation stone for today's international company that has branches in France, Slovenia, South Korea, Japan and the USA.
The success story of the family business is now being continued by Stefan Halder in the third generation. Even today, the entire process chain is still handled by the one company - from development to production and worldwide distribution. Today the company employs approx. 200 workers and its range of products has been extended to cover four product areas. Besides soft-face hammers and forestry tools, Erwin Halder KG also manufactures and sells high-precision standard parts, aerospace products and devices for clamping workpieces. We encounter standard parts every day, in blood pressure monitors, air conditioning controls, in mounts for loudspeaker systems and for fixing weights to fitness equipment. Today, over 13,000 parts are listed in the company's catalog. Thanks to the extensive vertical range of manufacture, individual customer solutions can be developed in addition to the production of standard parts. More than 60 worldwide agencies and 6 company subsidiaries guarantee customer proximity and on-site availability.
