Every day, every eighth drug prescribed in Germany is from Teva. The range includes innovative drugs, generics and over-the-counter medicines. With ratiopharm, Teva’s portfolio also includes Germany‘s best-known drug brand. In addition to the large conventional pharmaceutical production, the company’s own production plant for biopharmaceuticals is located on site. A second facility for the production of monoclonal antibodies, leading-edge biotechnologically-engineered active ingredients, is currently under construction. Thanks to this expansion, the Ulm site will become the biotech hub of the entire group. Internationally, Teva is the world market leader among companies that produce generics. It also offers novel solutions for treating diseases of the central nervous system, pain and respiratory disorders.
