With more than 2,000 employees at 46 international locations, the Ulm-based Seifert Logistics Group (SLG) currently generates sales of around 197 million euros.
SLG currently operates over 600,000 square meters of warehouse space and plans 1,375 loads daily. It has 270 of its own vehicles and 350 subcontractors driving in Seifert CI. SLG not only provides contract logistics, warehousing and value-added services to DAX companies in the chemical, automotive, building materials, pharmaceutical, paper and consumer goods industries. The group is also successful in research and development. In this regard, the LaSiChem load securing system for octabins developed and patented by Seifert deserves a special mention. SLG is increasingly concerned with the subject of digitization in order to offer its customers logistics services that are geared to future requirements.
